Posted by: TanyaYou should know that the airport of Bohol is in Tagbilaran City, which is their commercial district. The best beaches and resorts are in Panglao, which is 45 mins away from the city. Then the city tour and famous sights of Bohol are scattered across diff areas of this province, so you would need to rent a car to get around.
In my other post, I mentioned that transportation of Bohol is a lucrative industry. There are a lost of Boholanos who can offer to take you around Bohol's must-see sites (apparently there is a standard list) and act as your tour guide for Php 1800-2200. When going to this area, I suggest that you find a driver slash tour guide so you can save on transpo costs. And chances are, they also know people who can tour you by sea around the islands for snorkeling or dolphin-watching. As I said, it is a booming business.
