Posted by: WilOne of the places I visited during my recent trip to the Philippines was Bohol. I went with my sister and in order to get to Bohol, we had to take a ferry from Cebu. We went to the docks to catch one and as we were waiting, a rather large ferry arrived. I then noticed some small boats alongside the ferry. I got up to get a closer look and the small boats turned out to be carrying beggars begging for money from ferry passengers:
Some of the beggars even held nets so that they could catch money thrown at them by ferry passengers. That's the first time I've ever seen beggars on boats.
